This is a very rare mechanism. The hammers are flat nose or noseless. The strikers are retractable with the cocking of the hammers. This gun could be considered a "false hammerless" design. The firing pins are connected internally to the cocking rods on the exterior of the action, which are in turn connected to slots via the anterior portion of the hammers.
