It began with NAFTA, credit Bush 41 for negotiating it and Slick Willie for signing it. Both parties sold the working class out. Purchasing power peaked in the early 70's. I know, not the party line I should be busy shouting in this time of oh so important mid-term elections.

On the bright side the top 1% of taxpayers received 20% of the tax reductions the Republicans are so proud of.
