It may be stalling or it may be as the Democrats describe. What did the Republicans expect after not taking up the Merick Garland nomination at all. That was 293 days. Both parties are wrong.

Both parties?

harry reid invented the nuclear option. Why exactly would a Republican have even the slightest obligation, moral or otherwise, to vote for a dem nominee? Is it really being suggested that a garland was an ideological equivalent of a Justice Scalia? barry had Republican support that confirmed both his previous nominees. It meant nothing, or at least he didn't hesitate to sweep the last bit of senate traditions and decorum right out the door, eh?

The last prez wanted to tip the balance flat out knowing he would not get Republican support. Regular plain ole dems are just dupes. All barry was looking for was an election year wedge to stir up the base for hill. An excellent jurist means nothing more to dems than garland was going to be solely responsible for swinging America to the left by legislating from the bench. His nomination intent was by no means to keep all Americans equal.

Hmmm, Republicans didn't take up a hearing as are allowed by the rules, and a booker, harris and hirono can say the foulest things without consequence, because we're all the same. Sheesh.
