CB, How does one steal a word? When you use it, presumably, it retains it's fixed, true meaning. When someone else uses it, the meaning is hopelessly garbled. Is this your point? You're especially on target with regard to conservatism. In the past, it meant respect for tradition and the need to proceed slowly in breaking new ground. It did not mean turning the country over to big money to despoil the earth and buy their Congress. Just a reminder here that the truth cuts both ways.
