The son of lifelong friend who is also now a friend as an adult has an outstanding English Pointer. The EP is now 14. At 8, he was wasting away. Local vets couldn't diagnosis the issue and he was on death's door. Sperm was harvested and stored frozen to preserve the lineage. He was advised by the local vet to take the dog to the UGA vet school where a rare condition preventing the digestion of normal dog food and raw meat was diagnosed and a nutritionist prescribed a food which was rich in amino acids.
