My go to 1oz load for 2 3/4 16s nearly mirrors the original turn-of the-century load that Drew has referenced in other threads. Using Universal it comes in at 1165 and 7100.
For my short chambered 16s Ive settled on a 3/4 oz load using International that measures 1150 and 6200.
They both use Cheddite hulls and Ched 209 primers.
