Is it hard to line up walk-up grouse hunting? Do you have any suggestions on who to contact to organize a walk-up grouse hunt in England or Scotland?
I can't really. I am invited by friends and not many places do walked up. Best bet would be a UK sporting agency.
It is challenging - which is what makes it interesting and exciting; the walking can be challenging - and walking uneven ground with a gun and watching/listening all the time demands a lot of concentration - as does keeping a straight line - and being 100% sure it is safe before every shot, but you have to be quick! You might walk an hour or more between shots, or you might get two or three in a few minutes.
