L. Brown, my gun does have these features, with the rib being low, ventilated, and concave on top. At a quick glance, its hard to tell that it is vented. The stock has a black plastic buttplate marked CD and black plastic grip cap. That type of forend latch is another rather unique feature of those guns. You definitely have a Beretta-made Charles Daly.
