I used that carrier, also, when shooting my .36 cal. Appalachian style longrifle in competition. Those were the loads, in grains, that I shot at different distances, 35 gr. at 25 yds., 50 gr. at 50 yds., and 60 gr. at 100 yds. It was FFFg in that little rifle, tho'.

I just disregarded the numbers when using it with my shotgun, and shot the same volume of FFg black as the dipper threw when set for 1 oz. of no. 8 shot. It would have been less confusing if I had put in all unmarked "bottles" for the pic.
