first thanks to those that offered suggestions. I tried slowing my mount and swing down based on one recommendation and it helped. I also went back to pattern board and tested again, surprise, not 60/40 as I thought or even 70/30 but 100% of pattern was centered but just above aim point. Make sense why clays, that are often dropping as you shoot, due to clever setters, are difficult to hit with a high shooting gun
