Ive read most of the posts here. One thing that would really bother me were if I were the least bit concerned, at all that my country could some day be invaded, I would think it best if the citizens were to be armed. Think France in WWII. England has the USA as an ally and watching their backs, so maybe that sort of sentiment is of no concern to them? One never knows what the future has to hold.
