Re the below post on "Baluch-Brahui tribes," identified as "the worst band-width ever OT post on DGS"....Here is a Baluch made SxS from about 1900. I found it in Quetta 42 years ago. No "Baluch" could have made this. It was probably Pashtun Adam Khel Afridi. But the heirs of the gun were emphatic..it was "Baluch.

Well, there was a group of "Baluch" called the "Balul" which might have been capable of making this gun. They were the Baluch equivalent of "gypsies" and specialized in iron working... and made carpets in the Sistan area in a particular pattern and specifically up into the eastern Iran area of desolate desert. (and I've done interesting and original research on them)

It's admittedly a bit "rough"

I have no idea what's inside those home-made locks..but I do like that simple and efficient bolting system....a simple twist of the screw.. voila.
