Last time I saw a Pieper sidelock of that era and engraving style it was a 12 ga and sold at auction for around $1800. I think it was Rock Island and it was about 10 years ago. I think this one is a little nicer and of course its a 16. But at the same time Id say prices for those mid quality vintage SxS are off from where they were 10 years ago.
