Supply chain issues more than anything else. I have a multitude of items on back order at the moment, triggers, sights, barrels, bottom metal, ammo. You name it and the supply chain has been disrupted due to Covid.
I think you are wrong. Check with friends that do other gun work, there's been a huge shift to producing barrels, triggers, scope bases/rings, etc for the precision rifle market. Have you seen any ammo manufacturer reports of covid setbacks, don't they all report 24/7 production shifts?
