Thanks. Now here is where I got hung up. I think the BRUM proof were from 1887-1896, not 1896-1904. And when trying to figure things out there seem to be some missing proof marks. Here are the barrel flats marked up I think more or less correctly - the proof mark charts are from Diggory Hadoke:
Questions:
1. "13" (bore size) not mentioned in Diggory's chart for that time period 1887-96.
2. Two proof marks appear to be missing from the London reproof. Is the London proof CP etc. possibly not necessary on a reproof? If the gun is already marked chambered for 12, does the London proof house need to remark it "12" other than the bore size?
Any suggestions?
