Mine does look similar the stock has an adjustable cheekpiece,but the lines are the same.I sent you some pictures and the email of the man who was able to give me info from a M/S club.Here is a couple of my 1903,I have a 1908 shooter full stock that I do hunt with,also had a real early 1903 that still had the 3 piece rod in the stock but traded that one off.





Thats interesting about the pre rotary mag Steyr,never saw one.What caliber is it?
If the former owner purchased the Purdey in Germany,perhaps he bought the M/S there as well and that was its former,former owners initial,who knows.That case is very nice and could tell a few stories no doubt.
