That is a very interesting one. The guy was shooting a 3” shell, but .018 isn’t ordinarily a candidate for bursting. How far down the barrel of a Perazzi is the location of that burst?

A question I have is how does the surface area of a thin spot affect the potential for a barrel to burst? So if there’s a tiny thin spot from a pit or dent repair versus a broader section that has been bored out to the same thickness . . . more or less dangerous?
