There are all sorts of these scam sites. A couple of things to look for to keep from being a victim:

Take a hard look at the descriptions of items. Look for misspellings, bad grammar, and writing style. Also, look at the inventory. If your local gun shop can't get it, or the big box outlets like Bass Pro, Cabela's, Sportsman's Warehouse, etc. don't have it, and venues like MidwayUSA don't have it, but this on-line store seems to have everything at great prices?

Additionally, watch for sites that advertise shipping to all fifty States. Remember, some States no longer allow on-line sales of ammunition, or it must be shipped to an FFL.

Further, beware of payment systems like Zelle, etc. PayPal frowns on anything firearms related, so if they advertise that as an option it is probably a scam.

Finally, these sites advertise firearms too. Using Henry Rifles as an example, they can be tough to find in certain areas. But an on-line site has every model and caliber in stock, ready to ship immediately?

Don't be tempted or fooled by these. Be patient and stay with legitimate sources.
