Looking for any information I can get from all the Francotte experts? Gun is marked FRANCOTTE CHOKEBORE on the barrel flats along with a AF under a crown. serial # 87665, It is an H&H style self opening action, the barrels are marked ELECTRUGINE TRADEMARK and serial numbered. The proof marks are typical Belgian marks, the date code is cursive l (1933). The gun has no other maker identification. Everything points to a Belgian made Francotte mid-high grade double with full coverage fine scroll engraving? Can anyone explain why the watertable and barrel flats are marked "IMPORTE DE BELGIQUE?
