I have seen some 21's backbored to .740 taking that much material off two barrels that are 32" long is going to lighten those barrels. Sorry i don't buy your wall thickness will not very. I have seen with my own eyes. As for the type of rib I want that would be Matted rib of course. I think a vent rib on a model 21 is ugly. Thats my opinion.
